Tantalum is a high melting point material which has excellent resistance to corrosion. Tekna’s tantalum powder, which is manufactured by plasma spheroidization, is suitable for use in demanding applications which require corrosion resistant coating that can function at elevated temperatures. Tantalum is biocompatible so can be used in medical applications.
