Offering over 250 different types of aerospace grade nickel, cobalt, steel, stainless, aluminium, magnesium, titanium and superalloy welding wires. Typical Alloys supplied include, Jethete M190, 18/8 Nb Stainless steel, NC 80/20, IN 625, IN 718, Hastelloy X, IN738, FSX414, MARM 918, 6Al-4V Ti, and CP Ti. Holding extensive in-house stocks, we are able to offer delivery to suit your requirements, whether same day through AOG situations, to managed scheduling.
Wires available in either straight length or spool, TIG or MIG, with standard sizes offered between 0.80mm to 3.2mm although non-standard sizes available on request, including fine diameters as low as 0.08mm for critical applications. Package size, labelling and rod identification are bespoke to your needs. All products can be released to meet international standards such as AMS, BS, AWS, MIL, as well as specific Customer purchasing standards.
Our long-term relationship with key suppliers allows us to maintain our position as a competitive market leader and ensures we meet the long-term demands of our customers. VBC is the sole UK distributor for Astrolite Alloys, along with other specialist mills. We have developed our own range of specialist titanium wires in grades 679, 685, and 829.
To compliment our welding wires, we also offer welding powders and weld test coupons. We also manufacture a range of mechanised welding equipment including the Heat Management VBC InterPulse welding power source for use with crack sensitive super alloys used in Nozzle Guide Vanes and High Pressure Turbine Blades.
