VBC InterPulse
Inventor of the unique and proprietary VBC InterPulse series of controlled heat management TIG sets, we are able to offer the Customer a giant leap ahead of the competition.

Previously difficult to weld superalloys such as Inconel 738LC, Inconel 718 and 713, MARM 247, PK33, RENE 142 DS and CMSX-10 (single crystal) and many other materials have been successfully welded using the VBC InterPulse without creating surface and/or sub-surface centre line weld liquation cracking, fusion line cracking, heat affected zone (HAZ) cracking and halo cracking that is so often seen after using conventional TIG welding power sources. The VBC InterPulse deposits 1/3 less heat input when compared to conventional inverter TIG welding power sources by generating a constricted arc. This generates a narrow weld bead and narrow heat affected zone, and is therefore ideal for welding titanium alloys and superalloys. Delicate, "out-of-chamber" titanium work is also achievable.

The VBC InterPulse is quickly becoming the preferred choice, having already become a proven technology in the major aerospace and land based industrial turbine markets.

The cost of the machine can be recouped after only one shift of salvage welding.

Equipment can be purchased or leased. We offer after sales servicing and calibration services.
