VBC Group is heavily involved with advanced metal joining application where special metal property requirements are called for. Low and controlled-expansion alloys are a specific category.

Joining materials offered as wire in this range include:

• Tungsten, various grades
• Invar series of Fe-Ni alloys (Mil-I-23011C, Cl-5, Cl-7, Mil-S-16958 chemistry, ASTM F-1684)

• IN 901 and its derivatives in the 900 series (released to AMS requirements)
