Welding Division - Electrodes

Special standard and non-standard, coated MMA welding electrodes for specific fabrication applications are supplied by VBC Group. Included in this capability are:

• Structural and high strength steels with E**16 & E**18 low hydrogen basic flux coatings and ultra low residual content for optimum toughness properties.
• A full range of stainless steel welding electrodes for higher temperature and/or severe corrosion resistance applications, with rutile, rutile-metallic and basic flux coatings. This series includes ferritic, austenitic, martensitic, duplex, heat treatable (PH) and high manganese meta-stable combinations.
• Electrodes for cast iron welding, including aluminium bronze compositions.
• Cupro-nickel and Monel coated welding electrodes for marine and military use.
• Tool, wear resistant & cobalt alloys for maintenance and salvage welding.
